How the SINP EOI score works
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program scores International Skilled Worker Expressions of Interest out of 110. You need at least 60 to enter the pool:
- Education and training, up to 23.
- Skilled work experience, up to 15: two points for each of the last five years, plus points for earlier years.
- Language ability, up to 30, across your first and second official languages.
- Age, up to 12: full points from 22 to 34.
- Connection to Saskatchewan, up to 30: a job offer, close family, or past work or study in the province.
Saskatchewan invites the highest scores from the pool in periodic draws. A nomination through an Express Entry-linked stream adds 600 CRS points.
Questions
What is the minimum SINP score?
60 out of 110. That only gets you into the Expression of Interest pool; draws invite the highest-scoring candidates, so cutoffs are usually higher.
Do I need a job offer for SINP?
Not for the Occupations In-Demand or Express Entry categories. A Saskatchewan job offer is worth up to 30 points for connection to the province, which is the largest single bonus.
Does SINP help with Express Entry?
Yes. A nomination through the Saskatchewan Express Entry category adds 600 CRS points.
